Saskatchewan Health Authority
In 2017, Saskatchewan restructured its health system by moving from 12 Regional Health Authorities to a single provincial organization, the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This change created one body responsible for delivering public health services across the province, with the goal of improving coordination, reducing silos, and ensuring more consistent care through regional networks and community engagement.
